The unfortunate announcement of Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys) suffering from a cancerous throat tumor caused the band to cancel tour dates, including the performance at Lollapalooza and All Points West festivals. As a quick and surprising replacement, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been asked to fill in for the August 8 lineup at Lollapalooza and Jay-Z for the latter.
