Portland-based dance floor-friendly pop duo YACHT are known for their visually energized performances, but until now, the band, much abuzz since the release of their latest album, See Mystery Lights, wasn't so much a band as two vocalists with a laptop and a projector. All of that is set to change when YACHT embark on their upcoming tour, as they have enlisted a proper backing band to aid them through their travels. Called The Straight Gaze, the band consists of YACHT (Jona Bechtolt, Claire Evans) along with the additional talents of Rob Keiswetter of Bobby Birdman, Jeff Brodsky of Jeffrey Jerusalem and D. Reuben Snyder of Rob Walmart. The newly-formed five-piece will begin a lengthy set of North American dates beginning in late February. Check after the jump for a full list of dates!
