The ethereal sounds of the dreamy Baltimore duo Beach House have continuously left our ears tingling with anticipation after each release. Their third album, Teen Dream, was released back on January 26th, and was their first to be released via their new home, Sub Pop. Like candy floss and bubble-gum, the release is a sweet and juicy adventure that lingers with you like a nice warm cuddle. The new single "Real Love" and its new video reminds us why we fell in love with them.

The video was directed by Matt Amato, a man who frequently utilizes his producing talents in shorts for The Dodos and Dido. It seems to be cut using archival 8mm footage and pasted together to create a home-movie style feature, following a young woman's descent into adulthood. We see her in youthful spirits at a birthday party which then jumps several years later to a wedding day.

The effects are creatively processed and layered over the top of the grainy 8mm sequences, and the opening birthday party scenes look as if they have been merged with artwork from Radiohead's In Rainbows - a network of kaleidoscopic colors mixing and spilling into one another.

The song plods over the video beautifully, and the video provides a heartbeat to the tick tock melody of Victoria Legrand's vocals. Check it out below.
