Philadelphia DJ and producer Diplo's twitter brought us some interesting news last night regarding M.I.A.'s upcoming album. "All day finishing up these M.I.A. tracks," the one-time M.I.A. significant other and current producer stated, "It's official.. This team is from the FUTURE!! - dipole rusk switch mia blaqstarr sleighbellz FTW"

After exploding into the world scene with her debut, 2005's Arular, then topping the charts and solidifying her importance with the followup, 2007's Kala, M.I.A.'s third album is one of the most hotly anticipated at the moment.

If you haven't heard of Sleigh Bells yet, you soon will. If their upcoming debut sounds anything like the demos floating around the internet (some available on their MySpace), we'll hear them at every club and dance party in America.
