Much like this New York City-based collective’s name suggests, Linfinity’s music plays on a seemingly infinite amalgamation of sounds, ranging anywhere from folk to alt-country to contemporary-classical, indie rock, and even rockabilly. Judging from the vast pallet of sounds on their upcoming debut, Martian's Bloom, the only thing holding this genre-melding band back from incorporating electro into their record is the apparent lack of a synth machine. While it’s always exciting to hear about a band takes influence from many a sonic realm, we at Inyourspeakers tend to listen with reservation simply because very few of these acts can live up to the hype. Thankfully, Linfinity is one of those rare bands that actually gives the listener something different and interesting to chew on.

While we’ll save the analysis of all the gory details of Linfinity’s upcoming record for our review, we will say this: you are going to be surprised not only by the number of sounds on Martian's Bloom, but also by the dynamic of lead singer Dylan Von Wagner’s voice - think Antony Hegarty with a folksier (and sometimes rougher) vibe. Time and time again, Wagner’s vocals pair excellently with whatever sonic trail Linfinity decide to meander down, a feature which makes the act sound that much tighter and collectively self-assured of what they do.

As a bit of a teaser, we’ve included a track off of Martian's Bloom, as well as cover art and an extensive list of tour dates below. Keep an eye out for our review of Martian's Bloom, to be published in the next few weeks!
