With a new album almost completed, The Thermals are back to tour in the US this February with Seattle Washington's Past Lives, a post punk renegade band with nothing to lose. The tour will begin February 5th at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, California. Check after the jump for tour dates and a video!

The Kill Rock Star label is actually showcasing another band from San Francisco, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, who of course will be staring the lovely Thao Nguyen.

Mr Harris comments on the tour, "We will be playing all the hits, plus a few songs from our next LP, coming later this year."

The new album is to be released by Kill Rock Stars label on September 7, 2010 and will be mixed by Death Cab's Chris Walla who mixed The Thermals first LP More Parts Per Million and even worked with their second LP Fuckin' A.

Expect Some song covers on their live tour as they've been known to produce entertaining versions of Green Day's Basket Case. I've placed the Youtube link and tour dates below for your listening pleasure and informational journey.
