It wasn't too long ago that I wrote about the awesome lineup of the Langerado Music Festival, but sadly reports are coming in that the festival will be canceled this year due to poor ticket sales.

“Unfortunately, during these difficult economic times, and facing a first year in a new venue, it’s become apparent that we cannot execute a production that lives up to the high standards of our past events,” Langerado Co-Promoter Ethan Schwartz said. “Putting Langerado on hold was the toughest decision we have ever had to make. We are very grateful for the support of the greater-Miami community and the music community during this difficult time.”

The good news is the festival is not down for the count and will most definitely be back next year. Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Girl Talk and many more were all on the ticket to play this year in Miami, FL. Hopefully the other music festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo won't be owned by the economic clusterfuck as well.
