Tributes have started to flood in for the late underground hip-hop producer, Jun "Nujabes" Seba. The DJ was involved in a car accident on February 26th of this year; however, details have only just started to emerge regarding the fatality of the incident. The privacy by which the producer led his life by it seems, has overlapped into his death as not even some of his closest friends knew that the great beat-maker had passed. He was only 36 when he died in the accident which fatefully unravelled in Tokyo's Minato Ward.

Jun Seba was a private yet extremely hard-working man, whose passion for music will always have an impact on Japan and the rest of the world. He owned two record stores, T Records and Guiness Records, both of which were legendary amongst waxphiles from around the globe. He was also the founder of Hydeout Productions along with his close friend Shing02, who was one of the first people to confirm the death of Jun.

Tributes have been pouring in as the news has finally found it's way onto the English speaking web. DJ Premier had this to say about the producers impact on the world:
"Damn, I was such a big fan of the man. Not only his music, but his character too. I remember when a hip hop fan got back from Japan they always asked him if he went to his record shop and took pictures of it and if they met Nujabes himself. Because it was so rarely to see him on image, he communicates with music like no one else did. His vinyl were always hard to get for non Japan heads, it was crazy how they were sold. The underground world really recognized him and always will, no doubt about it. He was one of the best hip hop producer of Japan and that is what he will always be remembered for, R.I.P. my friend, we'll miss you. 2010, damn..."
