As they gain more and more fame with the steady supply of solid, edgy indie rock albums, Portugal. The Man have been forced to keep up with the growing attention. As it turns out, they've made the appropriate plans to compensate and are ready to start off the year with a bang! The first piece of news is that the band will shortly make an official announcement for the release of their forthcoming sixth studio album, American Ghetto. The full-length, eleven-track album is undergoing the finishing touches from the band, and will remain unavailable to the public until its official release date. This (unfortunately) means no sample tracks from IYS! However, if you're really dying to hear the new tunes, Portugal. The Man also announced they will be heading out on tour very soon. The dates in addition to a previously unreleased music video for "The Sun" lie after the jump
