Back in November of 2009, we at Inyourspeakers caught wind of a possible new project headed by former prog-rock legend and the leader of the infamous band Genesis, Peter Gabriel. However, as we reported, this is not just your standard comeback record. Gabriel is in fact using his musical talents to release an album consisting of entirely covers, or as he put it, "reinterpretations" of some of his favorite songs. Back then, we only knew the rough details: a 12-track album due out January 25th, with "reinterpretations" of bands including Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Neil Young, Bon Iver, and more. Now, Gabriel has released the official tracklist, album artwork, and a couple of interesting podcasts that give plenty of insight into this soon-to-be-released project. It is also now possible to listen to a preview of the album online! Check out the links and info after the jump.
