!!! (Fall 2010)
In support of their upcoming sophomore record, Strange Weather, Isn't It?, due out on August 24 through Warp Records, !!! will embark on a worldwide tour this September. The upcoming record is the band's first full-length record release since their 2007 effort, Myth Takes. Moreover, Strange Weather, Isn't It? was recorded all over the place: Berlin, New York, and Sacremento, and was co-produced by the band with Eric Broucek, the former house engineer for DFA Records.
The group has endured a few line-up changes in the past few years, but !!! now consists of vocalist Nic Offer, Mario Andreoni (guitar), Daniel Gorman (horn/keyboardist), and Allan Wilson (saxophone/percussion), with Shannon Funchess of Light Asylum and Paul Quattrone of Modey Lemon adding flavor to the live show. The Thermals (Fall 2010)
One of Portland's finest indie outfits, The Thermals, is planning a fall tour in support of their upcoming fifth album, Personal Life. Once again, Chris Walla (Death Cab for Cutie) will be assisting The Thermals with the process, and the record will drop on September 7. Given his past work with The Thermals on their first and second records, we're certainly hoping for a really stellar album. It has been stated that their next record "continues the Thermals tradition of high-energy punk/power/pop while also exploring darker, more introspective territory." Expect to hear "I Don't Believe You," the first single from Personal Life, on vinyl through Kill Rock Stars on August 10. What's more important to consider is that The Thermals are heading out on a massive tour, performing many dates with Cymbals Eat Guitars, and one with Japandroids. Catch all the dates below, and a download of "I Don't Believe You" at the bottom of the page!

Say Anything (Fall 2010)
Emo/indie rock pioneers Say Anything are planning a co-headlining tour for this fall, scheduling dates with Motion City Soundtrack and Saves The Day. If you've never heard of Say Anything, you should definitely check out their fourth and most recent self-titled album, which was released last year. If you have heard of Saves The Day, then perhaps you are familiar with Two Tongues, the collaboration between Saves the Day and Save Anything that came about last year. Considering that these two bands will be on tour together for a little bit, it's no wonder that Say Anything frontman Max Bemis suggested via Twitter a few days ago that hearing a Two Tongues song on this tour was not out of the question. If you're a fan of emo rock or are just getting your feet wet with indie rock music overall, Say Anything is a great band to see. Furthermore, with the additions of Motion City Soundtrack and Saves The Day on this tour, you're really getting a taste of some awesome music. Grab the full list of tour dates below and a download of "Do Better."

Library!), are planning a fall tour in support of their second record, Disconnect from Desire, which was just released a few weeks ago. Named after the mythical South American pickpocketing training academy, School of Seven Bells have a shoegaze/dream pop sound that you might actually love if you give them a listen. This September will see the group headlining their own tour to support the new record, and will have them crisscrossing the country. Be sure to catch them if they hit a city near you!

Wavves (Fall 2010)
Wavves is a noise pop band from San Francisco that has caught the eye and possessed the hearts of many indie rock news outlets in a short period of time. In just two short years, Wavves have released two albums, and are on the verge of releasing their third record, King of the Beach, in August, which has already garnered much acclaim. In support of their new record, Wavves are heading out on a massive tour across the United States this fall. They will share the stage with the likes of Smith Westerns, Total Slacker, Harlem, Fergus and Geronimo, Abe Vigoda, The Growlers, Crystal Antlers, The Cool Kids, Phoenix, and Dirty Projectors. Whew. Taking all that into account, you have no reason not to see these guys live; they're sharing the stage with some pretty big names, so you can believe that Wavves are pretty important, too.
