Brooklyn quintet Yeasayer have managed to get a much deserved boost in exposure with their sophomore album Odd Blood. The self-produced affair managed to chart in a handful of countries and has spawned three singles so far, the latest being the beautifuly melodic "Madder Red." Andreas Nilsson, who has created videos for the likes of MGMT, Bright Eyes and The Knife, provides a strange storyline set around Veronica Mars actress Kirsten Bell and her strange little pet - a dying tumour. The video plays out like any other relationship themed short would with all the strangeness being fully characterized by the little tumour rather than with flashy direction or effects.
