of Montreal like to keep themselves busy. With ten albums in just over ten years the group are a hard bunch to steer clear of whether you like them or not - they take up a rather large chunk of the 'O' section in your local record stores and, well, they are as catchy as ABBA, but without the guilt which comes after whistling one of their tunes. False Priest - the bads tenth LP - is on it's way, approximately one month away actually, and so to get those butterflies multiplying they have released a rather brilliantly odd video for the premiere single - "Coquet Coquette." Check it out after the jump.

The short was directed by Jason Miller, a man who is not affraid to make things bloody and barbaric. A bunch of savage and weird characters occupy a beach where the only form of entertainment seems to be to kill one another, oh and nibble on each others necks afterwards. Their seems to be an abundance of sexual themes swimming under the bigger picture, play close attention to the bald bloke at the end of the flick. What's all that about?
