Welcome to Video Roundup! Today, we’ve got two great bands that have released two great music videos, and we feel especially excited to be sharing them with you today: Ariel Pink’s “Mistaken Wedding” and Band of Horses’ “Laredo.”

“Mistaken Wedding,” the Nicolas Amato-directed clip for the B-side to the unforgettable fan favorite “Round And Round”, appeared online briefly last month. Shortly afterward, it disappeared from the seemingly infinite blogosphere before we could post it! No worries, though; all of the anticipation that little teaser created wasn’t for nothing. After waiting a month to be able to watch “Mistaken Wedding”, the video is far from disappointing. Actually, it accomplishes what one might expect from a track name like “Mistaken Wedding”, which generally goes against all Ariel Pink standards. It feels like you’re watching a home video-style wedding, perhaps a traditional Jewish wedding home video at that, and even features Ariel Pink himself singing alongside the wedding party. After all, it is a wedding video, so it may get you feeling a tad emotional, but something tells us this wedding video won’t have that effect on most of you readers out there. Watch it for yourself below, and decide on your own.

Last, but definitely not least, Band of Horses’ “Laredo”. If you haven’t taken your road trip across America and into the Wild West yet, this video will surely convince you to plan it ASAP. “Laredo,” which has an unmistakable country-rock feel, appropriately features crisp, scenic shots along a desert highway. The shots are interchanged with scenes of the band playing in Pioneertown, California, at a local venue, Pappy and Harriet’s. Check out the video below and don't forget to download the tracks on your way out.
