London duo Joe Ray and Dan Stephens have been making beats since they were teenagers. Hailing from Northwood, the hometown of many drum and bass notables, like LTJ Buken, Goldie, and Adam F., the duo wrote their first track while still teenagers. It was because of remixes of artists like La Roux, Calvin Harris, Drake, and DJ Fresh that helped put Nero on top of the dubstep food chain, and there are no signs of these guys slowing down anytime soon. The group was signed originally to DJ SS's Formation Records in mid-2004. While on this label, they produced "Requiem EP" in 2006, one of their most acclaimed works. Consequently, it was no surprise that they snatched up the 2010 Beatport Award for both Best Dubstep Act and Best Dubstep Track for "Act Like You Know".

Given that these guys have done so much in so little time, it's exciting to think of what their future holds; this is a dubstep duo you should not miss! Expect to hear their new album, to be released exclusively by Chase and Status' label MTA.
