Being a leech on the music industry and being tragically slothful seem to go hand in hand. Think of all the people you know personally who pirate their music off the Interweb. Do any of them get up before noon? Do any of them finish that thesis/concept album/novel/tax form they've been talking about? Hardly any. Pirating music usually implies money, which usually implies not having a steady job, which usually implies congenital laziness.

This is why A Sunny Day in Glasgow are being a real cool pack of guys and dolls and giving their fans until the end of fall to legitimately acquire their latest LP Autumn Again one hundred percent gratis.

The album, which features leftover tracks from their 2009 Ashes Grammar sessions, will be available to moochers everywhere starting October 19th on the band's website. Basically, they're offering us their leftovers, like so many tupperwares of cold turkey and mashed potatoes. “Drink Drank Drunk,” a lush piece of baroque pop with heavily-layered vocal work, is available for your listening pleasure even as you read this!

While no tour in support of the new album has been formally announced, A Sunny Day In Glasgow will perform at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on October 26th and at The Mercury Lounge on October 30th. It is believed that a full tour will be announced soon after those shows.

For now, mark your calendars, you sloths, and get over to ASDIG's website on October 19th for your free e-schwag.
