Arcade Fire is keeping fans on their toes (cleverly, we might add), ensuring that everyone is in a constant state of intense anticipation for the release of their third LP, The Suburbs, due August 2. First the band posted teasers of their 12'' single online forcing fans to uselessly spin a digital record, then they actually released the Suburbs single along with a bunch of other good news, after which they released the album tracklist, and now there is a whole lot of speculation going on about the album art.
Apparently, the band's forthcoming new album The Suburbs could be set to be released with eight different covers. According to reports on MBVMusic.com, the Canadian group's third studio effort will be released with multiple cover designs.
Interestingly, neither the group's official website or record label have confirmed nor denied such reports, which definitely questions the source of the speculations, however keeps fans (and us too) begging to know the truth. We guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, Arcade Fire is currently touring across the world and is probably in Northern Europe right about now.
