Matador Fest will do it in style – Vegas Style—with a classic Guided By Voices lineup at 21. Although they are a New York label, Matador is leaving the East Coast in the dust and heading to the tumbleweed towers of the West. Las Vegas will finally get a show they’ve been thirsting for.

Aging hipsters, book your tickets for October 1-3! GBV will be performing a classic 1993-96 set along with Pavement, Sonic Youth, Belle and Sebastian, Guitar Wolf, Cat Power, Yo La Tango, Chavez, Spoon, and more. (Yes, it does mean that some of you will actually have to leave New York to see an amazing lineup. And some of us will be spared the hassle of going to New York to see said amazing lineup.)

More artists will be announced on the Matablog on July 5th, as well as info on where/when to buy tickets.
