What can't Kanye West do? He's sold a zillion albums that have featured hip-hop's and R&B's finest, rapped through a wired-shut mouth, and publicly insulted one of country's biggest teen stars (we don't need to elaborate on this), all in less than ten years. Well, his next album is sure to be something to look forward to; not that the zillion people who bought his last records would dare overlook it. You know, out of fear of public ridicule, possibly on the stage of a hugely famous music awards ceremony. He's opting to collaborate with some of hip-hop's most esteemed artists. Read on for more details.

In an interview with Brooklyn Bodega, rapper Q-Tip confirmed that he will be working on Kanye West's next album. When questioned about his selective producing, Q-Tip responded, "I just try to work with people who I admire or whom I think has got it. So right now I'm working on Nas' shit, about to work with Kanye on his shit." To read the full interview, click here.

Q-Tip is not the only rapper to lend their hand to Kanye for his upcoming full-length, tentatively-titled Good Ass Job, which is slated for a June release. Both RZA and Pete Rock have skirted around confirming rumors of their involvement with West's upcoming album, but the cat's out of the bag. Thanks to a March 9 tweet to Pete Rock from LOUD Records' Senior VP of A&R, Scott Free, we know that Pete Rock was in Hawaii, possibly at Kanye West's home and studio. "Enjoy Hawaii, I'm sure you and Kanye are killing it," Free tweeted, then writing, "@QtipTheAbstract on his weezy! Hot." Yet, somehow, Pete Rock still tried to deny involvement, claiming that his trip to the Pacific was "just a vacation." He also tried covering his tracks in a response tweet to Free, "Pls don't mention that on here, Scott, it's all goody but I gotta keep a closed lid on it." Yeah, right.

In a nutshell, three of hip-hop's New York pioneers are commandeering Kanye's next album. Will it have an East Coast flow? Any other surprise guests? Guess we will have to see as the release date nears and is officially confirmed. Stay tuned to Inyourspeakers as this story unfolds.
