Catch free downloads from El-P, Camu Tao, and Telephoned after the jump! Think of it as a really cool, completely gratis way to get your weekend started--the right way--with free music! We have two mixtapes for you this week. First and foremost, we have the collaborative working between production mastermind El-P and the late rapper Camu Tao. After that, we have a little ditty from Telephoned, the latest dubstep girl-guy duo to come out of Brooklyn. Read on for full details on all these artists and links to download the mixtapes!

Central Services

Almost five years ago, El-P and Camu Tao were working together. Only at that time, they were rocking out under a singular moniker, Central Services. In 2005, that same year, they recorded an EP together, and it is just finally available now. The EP comes as a free download, in conjunction with the pre-order for Camu Tao's posthumous record.

As you may or may not know, Camu Tao was a rapper, by way of Ohio, signed to Definitive Jux. Prior to working with El-P, he had worked with rapper Metro under the name S.A. Smash, and was part of the rap group Weathermen. It was around his untimely cancer-related death in 2008 at the young age of 30 that Camu Tao had nearly completed his solo debut. However, it was not until last year that El-P announced via Twitter that the record was to finally be released last October. Due to a few apparent missteps, the record, King of Hearts, will actually be released on August 17 through Definitive Jux and Fat Possum Records. If the album is anywhere as good as the following EP, you'll undoubtedly want to pick it up.

And now, we give you the link to download Camu Tao and El-P's Central Services EP for FREE. You will also find a link to pre-order King of Hearts, so click away!

Telephoned

Our second treat for you today is a mixtape from Fool's Gold Records duo Telephoned. Maggie Horn and Sammy Bananas are the driven and incredibly talented forces behind Telephoned, yet another high-energy electronic act to come out of the Brooklyn music scene. What sets this act apart from the hoards of other electronic groups and/or djs out there is their unique take on contemporary dubstep (Maggie's incredible vocals don't hurt either). Moreover, they've successfully remixed and reworked everything from T-Pain to Soulja Boy to great effect, as referenced on the mixtape we have included below for your listening pleasure.

Do yourself a favor, and check out Telephoned now! Grab their mixtape (which features the likes of Chelley, Teki Latex, Rihanna, and Jay-Z), here and check them out on tour with Chromeo through the end of August.
