It's Friday the 13th, and we know some of you out there are scared shitless about all this new music coming out. Don't worry! IYS has your back, as always. We won't let you go into the haunted woods or spend the night in the creepy abandoned barn. We will, however, give you some killer new free music.

You may have heard about Ontario's Memoryhouse. We recently recommended you keep your eyes on them, and not being the type to give advice we don't keep ourselves, we caught wind of this sweet mixtape Memoryhouse's Evan Abeele put together "to calm [his] flight neurosis while traveling from Paris to San Francisco." Titled 1986 Summer Fire, the mix is made up of like-minded drone loopers (Grouper, Boards of Canada, Pan American, Brian Eno, etc), with a few exceptions (particularly Raekwon's Cuban Linx slow jam "Heaven & Hell" with Ghostface). Check it out here.

Secondly, to contrast the ultra-mellow vibes you're bound to soak up from Memoryhouse, we've got a great new mix from Belgian DJ Vito De Luca, better known as DJ and remix artist Aeroplane. Featuring Goldfrapp, Chromeo, Sweet G, Yoko Ono & more, this space disco mix will most definitely get your booty moving. And would you look at that, it is Friday night, isn't it? Might as well turn this up and cut loose!
