It's that time of year again, Florida kids! This year's Fest, the ninth installation in the Gainesville annual punk bash, has just been announced. Fest 9 has a pretty solid lineup for punk fans this year; check it out after the break!

Between October 29 and October 31 this year, Gainesville, Florida will be overtaken by some of punk rock's finest bands. Such bands include Bomb the Music Industry, Cheap Girls, The Flatliners, The Dopamines, A Wilhelm Scream, Cobra Skulls, Defiance Ohio, Suicide Machines (who are now reunited!) and many, many more! There are also twenty-two foreign bands scheduled to appear at this year's Fest, which should bring an interesting spin on the three-day music extravaganza!

The festival will be all throughout the city at venues including The Venue, Common Grounds, The Atlantic, 1982, Rum Runners, CMC, and Wayward Council. Market Street Pub will be used all three days of the festival, and the people at Fest have included The Top in their host of venues this year. The Kickstand will NOT be included in the list of venues, as it is no longer open, nor is Fest 9 using Durty Nelly's.
