Well, we're here once again facing a Wednesday. So, while you're focusing on getting over that hump and making your way once again towards another beautiful, hard-earned weekend, why not let this Daily Dose of New Music soundtrack your efforts?

The Extra Lens - "Only Existing Footage"

First off, we've got a new track from The Extra Lens. Formerly The Extra Glenns, you'll likely know one of the band's core members, John Darnielle, more from his other band, The Mountain Goats. The Extra Lens have been around for a while (since the early nineties, actually), and their long-awaited second LP (yes, second. In almost 20 years), titled Undercard is set to come out on Merge Records this October. We've got a cut from that record that you can download below, or you can stream the entire album from Merge's site.

Big Boi featuring Andre 3000 & Sleepy Brown – "Lookin’ For Ya"

It's been a good year for Big Boi. His live show is being praised all over, and he recently released a brand new album, Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty, which is a clear runner for best hip hop album of the year so far. Not too shabby. This track, featuring the other half of Outkast, Andre 3000, and the soulful Sleepy Brown, wasn't on that record (In fact Andre 3000 wasn't on the album at all), so you're going to want to grab this one if you're looking for an Outkast fix. Andre's new record is also just on the horizon, with a rumored Outkast album right behind that. Busy times!

Goldfrapp - "Believer (Little Loud RMX)"

Up next we've got a great remix. UK remix artist Little Loud has worked his magic on the likes of Au Revoir Simone, Memory Tapes, Health, Yeasayer, and more, and this time he's turned his attention to the ever-loved UK-based electronic duo Goldfrapp, and their hit "Believer." The remix takes the beautiful pop track and takes it to bubbly new poppy heights. Check it out below.

Teen Daze - "Wet Hair (Japandroids Cover)"

What Daily Dose would be complete without a great cover? Today we've got a killer Teen Daze take on Japandroids' "Wet Hair." Vancouver-based rock duo Japandroids stormed onto the scene and blasted all the way from nobodies to festival must-haves with the release of their debut album, Post-Nothing, in 2009, and it's on that release that we hear "Wet Hair." Teen Daze's version takes the track and puts it on it's head, so-to-speak, with a complete genre and instrument lineup change. The result is seriously awesome.

Junior Sanchez, Felix Da Housecat - "NEthang! (Original Mix)"

Finally, we thought we'd end today's Dose with a new banger from DJ power-duo Junior Sanchez and Felix Da Housecat. Both Junior and Felix tear clubs up on their own, and when they join forces like this, things just get out of control. Massive beats pound as our tour guides take us on a single-track journey through half a dozen styles, which isn't nearly as impressive as the fact that all of it just works so damn well together.
