Leading scientists agree, the only thing standing between us and a widespread epidemic of awful music and the resulting societal funk is this, your Daily Dose of New (good) Music.

Simian Mobile Disco - "Nerve Salad"

First, let's start things off with a bang with UK DJ/Producers and remix artists, Simian Mobile Disco. While these guys are primarily known for their bouncy electro club bangers, this new track, "Nerve Salad," is a much darker piece. And we love it that way.

Margot & the Nuclear So and So's - "New York City Hotel Blues"

Next up, how about a great new track from Margot & the Nuclear So and So's? The lead single off the band's forthcoming fourth full-length, Buzzard, "New York City Hotel Blues" hints at the new, heavier direction the new album will take, and is sure to please longtime fans and first-time listeners alike.

Vampire Weekend - "The Kids Don't Stand a Chance (Miike Snow Remix)"

Vampire Weekend's second LP, Contra, was released early this year to pretty universally positive reviews and a healthy chart spot (It's fair to call Billboard #1 a healthy spot, right?), but apparently Swedish band Miike Snow is still listening to their self-titled debut. Just as well, too, because otherwise we'd probably never get this fantastic remix.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs vs A-Trak - "Heads Will Roll (Electric Soulside ft Odissi Mix)"

Brace yourself; this may come as quite the shocker. We've got our hands on a new remix of YYYs' "Heads Will Roll" from their fantastic 2009 album, It's Blitz!. Wait, that's no surprise? There are literally dozens of remixes of this song? That may be the case, but none of that makes this version any less dope, or any less worthy for your ears. Go ahead, see if we're wrong.

Crookers - "Cooler Couleur feat. Yelle (AC Slater Remix)"

Now, to come full circle, let's end things with a bang. Here to provide just that is AC Slater's remix of the Crookers track "Cooler Couleur," which also features sexy exerciser Yelle. So what do you get when a great remix artist does his thing on an already awesome club track? Something awesome.
