Today, we have an eclectic mix of tracks featuring Australia's Clubfeet, Norway's Lindstrom, Georgia's of Montreal, and California's Local Natives. While these acts span the globe, their music sits squarely within a neighborhood of (relative) relaxation and smooth melodies. Take it easy and give the following tracks a listen or three.

Clubfeet - Edge of Extremes

Dance Rock meets Chillwave in the first single from the first single from the imminently upcoming debut (read: to be officially released tomorrow) Gold on Gold. This track, while not a banger, would fit well in a club night play list, if not for before the party then for the chilled-out afterparty. One has to wonder where this australian trio got their name though, as clubfoot doesn't spring to mind when the dancefloor is brought up.

Lindstrom & Christabelle - Lovesick (Four Tet Remix)

This track is an obvious pick for today's Daily Dose of New Music since it features a track off of Lindstrom & Christabelle's phenomenal Real Life is No Cool remixed by none other than Four Tet. Do we really need to describe the sublime melody created when Kieran Hebden his his namesake synthetic beats over the already beautiful production of Lindstrom for you to listen to this one? We didn't think so. Once piece of advice: save it for your afterparty mix.

of Montreal - Hydra Fantasies

Now normally, we at Inyourspeakers prefer to shy away from posting streaming-only tracks, since there is the obvious downside of not being able to listen to them whenever and wherever you please. The thing is, this is a new of Montreal track, so we figured we'd make an exception. Hydra Fancies would happen to be the second single off the forthcoming album, False Priest, and while it is relatively straightforward (at least as far as of Montreal is concerned), there are very few (if any) situations in which new of Montreal isn't wholeheartedly welcomed. You know you love the synth-driven psych-slash-dance rock that these guys are known for, so stop reading this and stream the track below.

The Local Natives - Wide Eyes (Daytrotter)

We like The Local Natives, and we love Daytrotter, so it only made sense to include a track from today's session in the mix. We picked "Wild Eyes" simply because it is such a stellar track and because Daytrotter picked it out. As would be expected, the recording is stellar (especially on the drums),and we highly recommend that you grab the entire EP in lossless from Daytrotter. For those of you who don't care about audio quality, but sill want some good music from The Local Natives can download the compilation as 128kbps mp3s from the site for a couple mouse clicks and an email address.
