Today's dose features limited-edition vinyl, widgets, sophomore albums, debuts, and a group with its own label. Check out all the good times, when eight is enough after the jump.

Hey Champ
"Call On Me" (Hey Champ Remix) by Andy Bell, one half of the British duo Erasure, is the dance track of the moment. Their PR state, "Hey Champ bring their upbeat electro pop flair to the original and leave listeners with little excuse for standing still on the dance floor." This release comes just prior to Star out July 13 via Townie Records; one can actually pre-order it for less than five bucks, and one will instantly get half the album and upon release will then be emailed the rest of it. You can check out that sweet deal here.

How To Dress Well
How To Dress Wells's debut 7" Ready For The Worldwill be out July 20, and it features both the title track, as well as a Twin Sister Remix of the same track. HTDW has a lo-fi, haunting sound and definitely thrives on knowing their aesthetic and sticking to it. The 7" has a limited press of 300, so pre-ordering might be a good plan. The Lefse Store is the place for that.

Trances Arc
Trances Arc is starting your 4th of July party early with a release of their new single "Boom City" off of their upcoming album TA out July 20 via their own label, Slush Fund Records. TA has been described as,"An album that lets loose with a fervor and familiarity, TA is a memorable and compelling collection of confident rock songs laced with bold vocals, infectious guitar interplay and fist-pumping anthems." "Boom City" seems like the perfect soundtrack to your fireworks display. Why don't you try and choreograph your pyrotechnics this weekend to this single?

Around the World and Back
Around the World and Back has announced a sophomore album release, Songs to Sleep To. ATWAB's PR state, "Recorded in the bands home studio in Albany NY, Songs To Sleep To is a six song collection that showcases the honesty in their songwriting and their ever growing passion for their craft. With warm guitars and delicate vocals, this newest album has the kind of songs that help you through the dark times, but also help you celebrate the good." "Why Won't You Stay," the track available below, definitely embodies those "warm guitars and delicate vocals" in a way that guides past the rough into smoother sailing.

Madlib
"Funky Butt, Part 1" by Poyser, Riggins & Jackson is off Madlib Medicine Show #7: High Jazz, which is expected out July 27. The elusive producer Madlib, is taking steps towards reaching a larger audience with High Jazz, generally his core group of musicians have very anti-commercial attitudes and the recordings are either not released or pressed anonymously and released privately. Madlib Medicine Show #7: High Jazz will be available on CD and limited edition 3-disc vinyl, which will have 30 minutes of extra music, unavailable on CD or digital download, the album covers will also be hand screened by Hit+Run, designed by Jeff Jank, and individually numbered. One can pre-order High Jazz here.

The Thermals
"I Don't Believe You" is the first single off The Thermals' upcoming album Personal Life set for release September 7 via Kill Rock Stars. If you don't want to wait until then, on August 10 KRS will release a 7" of the the catchy single, which will be complete with a B-side "There's Nothing You Can't Learn." Check out the Inyourspeakers interview with The Thermals for more information on Personal Life and this awesome indie/punk group.

Woodsman
The heavy, haunting, psych jam "I Can't Move" may or may not make it onto this Denver group's next full-length, but for now consider yourself lucky to perhaps have an advance taste. Woodman's Mystery Tape EP has recently been released via Lefse.

Best Coast
"Boyfriend" feels like a modern lo-fi version of the Supremes, with its pleading lyrics and mid tempo. The track is off their debut full-length album Crazy for You set for release July 27 via Mexican Summer. This noise-pop duo from California is really starting to give solid evidence that the West Coast is definitely the Best Coast.
