On their way to the top, Magic Kids dropped in today to lay out a new tune and amp up the excitement over their debut album. We also have tracks from Blonde Redhead, Crookers, Deastro, Eels, HEALTH, Lissie, and Nite Jewel. Don’t miss the double-dose of Deastro or Lissie’s covers on video!

Magic Kids
Magic Kids have been making their way across North America on a summer tour, which isn’t surprising with their rapidly growing fan base. The Memphis, TN indie pop group will finish their tour a few week before their debut album even hits the market. Memphis will come out for full listening pleasure on August 24th. This crooning “Summer” track is the perfect way to welcome in the warm weather, sunshine, and sweet summer romances.

Blonde Redhead
This surreal track infused with synthesizer and 80’s influence is the newest from Blonde Redhead. The band was featured on the Liars’ latest album as well as the compilation Dark Was the Night since their latest album released. 23 came out in 2007, so is this a sign of a new album on the way? We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out some oldies at BlondeRedhead23.com and enjoy the little ditty below called “Here Sometimes.”

HEALTH: Nite Jewel Remix
Health has been busy hopping around on a US and European tour and releasing an album, which features a bunch of their tracks remixed by the likes of Gold Panda, Crystal Castles and more. Instead of demanding new music from them, we’ve settled with a cool remix from Nite Jewel. “Die Slow” is off of HEALTH’s latest album Get Color and this revamped version layers complexity onto the withdrawn vocals for a fresh take.

Crookers
Crookers just released a teaser track before posting what they say will be “a beat pack of unreleased crookers material” this week on Crookers.net. Put Your Hands on Me released less than a year ago and sounds like a virtual club experience, though their more recent Tons of Friends won’t be as likely to help them gain fans even though they incurred the help of fellow talent. This track sure has some great sections, but let us know what you think and we’ll either keep them coming or toss it back in the water.

Deastro
After the release of Deastro’s Orange Swimmer Red Summer EP and celebratory tour last fall, we wondered if it would be a while before hearing from Randolph Chabot's alter ego Deastro again. Fortunately the newest EP will be available tomorrow, June 22. Several songs on the record may sound familiar because they’ve been digitally refurbished from his first blog-released cassette. Check out “Get Frosted” and “Mowgli the Lynx” for a few dancin’ tunes.

Eels
After only releasing End Times in January of this year, The band known as the Eels is “Looking Up” and pushing forward with another new album. Tomorrow Morning comes out August 23rd this year, but don’t worry about the wait. We not only have a free track for you, BUT the Eels are also on a massive and world-wide tour that will surely come close enough for you to catch a show or two. So sing along! We sure are…

Lissie
Folk artist Lissie will be releasing her second album in a follow-up to debut EP Why You Runnin’. After releasing it last fall, she took to the stage for a few shows earlier this year. Now, that the fair-haired singer dropped Catching a Tiger today, we thought we’d get you as excited as we are by offering a download from her first LP and a few soulful covers she’s done by Metallica, Lady Gaga, and Kid Cudi.
