Thursday - The Swedish indie rock band formerly known as Luca Brasi has decided to stick around in the music scene. Shout Out Louds released a Fontän remix of “Walls” just before embarking on a North American/European tour. The song will help you find a balance between the desire to bop your head to the music or just float along.
Friday - After The Glitch Mob first caught our eye, we’ve been looking for some more music to share with you. Use “Drive It Like You Stole It” as your own theme song and it will have you walking around thinking you are cooler and cooler everyday.
Saturday - With legit funky hip-hop, Madlib brings another underground jam to our attention. Shortly after Madlib's collaboration with Guilty Simpson, Madlib will release Medicine Show #5: The History of Loop Digga. We have a preview of “Static Invasion” below, and you can grab the full album on May 25th.
Sunday - These fresh tracks feature soulful hooks, funky beats, and electronic mixing by…well, we only know that Cloud. is the project of a Brooklyn based producer. He will be coming our way with a full-length album called Judge Wise later this year. Until then we can only sit and wonder.
Monday - Like a pop-rock Americana remix, Sleigh Bells’ “Tell Em” is a medley of style. The song comes from the new LP Treats, to be released May 11th. With signing on M.I.A.’s label, touring, and releasing new music recently, Sleigh Bells is all over the place.
Tuesday - The native New Yorker post-punk band Interpol has been around for more than 10 years and has survived multiple solo projects. Their new song “Lights” will remind you of their old days and have you wondering if they have enough new material to stick around.
Wednesday - After finishing up a tour with Real Estate and before beginning ANOTHER tour, Woods hands out a preview to their new album At Echo Lake. Record #5 will hit the stores on May 4th with its eerie lo-fi folk.
