Afghan Raiders' New Track Gets Remixed

Afghan Raiders’ newest track “Tunnel Vision” gets a facelift on this Mustard Pimp remix. The original track is all rolling electronic melodies and cyber soundscapes with a pop chorus and glitzy vocals. Mustard Pimp’s remix takes this solid original material and turns it into a new sweaty-dancing-at-a-basement-party version.

The group, now based out of San Francisco, have been making genre-bending music since 2007. The two founding members of the group, Mike Francis and Vincent “Beans” Campillo, have been friends since high school. In 2010 the duo added a third member, drummer Andrew Marcogliese. Their sound isn’t the typical cinematic electronic music so common in this year’s music scene. Afghan Raiders mix the techno beats with some thoroughly rock and roll hooks and infectious riffs.

On this remix of “Tunnel Vision,” Afghan Raiders’ unique sound is developed into an irresistible, hypnotic dance track. The distorted beats and faded vocals take the track from unpolluted electronic-rock to dirty basement rave.
