Mogwai have steadily grown over the years in terms of both their following and their musical prowess. The primarily instrumental quintet have produced six albums, tons of EPs, and have toured most of the globe. Stuart Braithwaite has confirmed that the band hope that the as-yet-untitled album will be available as soon as February 2011. He also stated that, "I think it's going to be an interesting record...Quite often, when we go into the studio our songs are nearly written. There's almost a tone of a song, but as the whole band, you haven't realized where it's going."
