Florence's debut album, last year's Lungs, has snowballed into something of a modern classic pop record. The album has been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and has enabled Florence and her trusty Machine to tour the globe and play of some of the biggest venues and festivals in Europe. Not bad for a first attempt. Music fans are insatiable as ever, though, and are quickly becoming hungry for a second round from Florence and her crew.

Whilst speaking with BBC 6 Music in the UK, Florence confirmed that she will be entering the studio this October to lay down some new material, and that Paul Epworth and James Ford will once again be by her side hovering over the mixing desk.
