The French electro-pop band known as Yelle announced the release of their sophomore album, Safari Disco Club and gave us a look at the new single.

Yelle scored big in France with their 2007 record Pop Up and subsequently drew some modest buzz here in the States (via song-use in Entourage episode). Safari Disco Club will hopefully take them to the next level (via song-use in True Blood?).

Our first look is the title track, "Safari Disco Club," a shiny dancehall beat that, like all their music, prominently showcases the vocals of founder and namesake Yelle. Even if she didn't sing in French, this song would sound really French. It's got the air of a European discotheque that somehow allows the song to reflect its title. Pretty fun song.

Safari Disco Club will be released on March 29th, 2011. More details when they're out there.
