Right on Dynamite are a Brooklyn trio with a huge sound. Pay attention, because they’re getting ready to release their debut full-length album, In Vino Veritas (“in wine, truth”), on September 13, and it’s going to be a huge entry for these guys.

Right on Dynamite are high school friends/bandmates Daniel Murphy (guitar/vocals), Nicholas Cirillo (bass/vocals), and Jonathan Molina (drums/percussion). They’ve been doing their thing since 2008 as Right On Dynamite, but had played together in a couple of other bands before starting the gig as RoD. They’ve been keeping busy over the last couple of years by touring with the likes of Frightened Rabbit, The Hold Steady, and The Cribs, as well as releasing several one-off tracks, and a stellar EP.

In Vino Veritas has some heavy hitting production behind it including John Agnello (who’s done work for Dinosaur Jr. and Kurt Vile). It reminds me of the Lemonheads with more of a garage feel, and serious guitar shred. Check out the links to the right for more info on the band, and grab the disc on Sept. 13th.
