Do you want to play with Nicki Minaj's buns, hun?

E3 may have been a few weeks ago, but the biggest game announcement of the year came to us today, via mobile developer Glu. The creators of the wildly popular Kim Kardashian: Hollywood mobile game have set their sights on Nicki Minaj, as the latest celebrity to be receiving the gaming treatment. Nicki joins the likes of Katy Perry and Jason Statham, both of whom have games currently in development.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood was a surprise cash cow for Glu; boasting 28 million downloads and bringing in over $74 million dollars through in-game purchases alone. It comes as no surprise that the company wants to expand their brand through new celebrity partnerships.

Glu CEO, Niccolo de Masi, released a statement announcing: "I am thrilled to welcome the undisputed queen of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj, to Glu's growing list of celebrity partners." While details about the actual game are scarce, it is expected to contain Nicki's likeness, voice, and creative direction.

Jason Statham's game, Sniper X: Kill Confirmed, will be a first person shooter, rather than the task-based leveling format of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. My fingers are crossed for Nicki's game to become a retro buttonmasher. Who needs Fallout 4 when we can have an arcade-style game where she uses her infamous butt as a weapon against a supervillain boss?
