NOFX caused a scene at their own show, pulling a decidedly un-punk move.

At a recent show in Halifax, Nova Scotia, NOFX front man Fat Mike saw something in audience that he didn't like. An unassuming fan who had laid down cold, hard cash to be in the front row, was adorned with a beard and a tie-dye t-shirt, apparently violating some unknown set of rules for attending a NOFX concert.

Despite the fact that the punk rock scene is often a place where societal outcasts find shelter, Fat Mike ripped into his own fan, telling him, "You have no business being here. I will pay you $100 to leave this show. Are you gonna stand in front and bother me all day with your fucking tie-dye shirt and your beard?"

Guitarist El Hefe joined in on the public shaming by stating, "We have a no hipsters rule. No hipsters tonight." The man refused to leave the show, and why wouldn't he? He paid for his front row tickets to a shitty NOFX show, only to be lambasted by the very people who would later be rolling around in his money. Although he did decline the offer, a compromise was reached and he removed the offending shirt in exchange for $20. Watch the whole thing happen below, and promptly burn any NOFX merchandise, because apparently they don't care if their fans have paid to support them. Don't forget to check out Fat Mike's uber punk cut off cargo pants, because those are so much better than a beard and a tie-dye shirt.
