Who knew a movie about bratty kids living the hard life of parties and dropping the beat would be so terrible? Uh, everyone.

On Monday, we discussed the catastrophic failure of the ridiculous EDM movie, "We Are Your Friends," starring Zac Efron. The film took in 1.8 million against a budget of 6 million, and proved to Hollywood execs that almost no one wants to part with their hard earned money to sit and watch people play with a laptop for 2 hours.

Although the studio responsible for this shit show is surely fretting over their questionable decision making, there is one person who broke out in a grin upon hearing the news - EDM grand master, Deadmau5. After finding out about the record setting flop, he took to Twitter to share his excitement:




I don't know if the movie's phenomenally poor showing at the box office actually restores my faith in music as much as it gives me a glimmer of hope for films, but otherwise, I couldn't agree more the Mau5.
