Anne-Marie is breaking out onto the scene for the first time as a solo artist but this may not be the first time you've heard her voice.

The British singer released her debut single, "Karate," on May 12 and fans of the drum and bass band, Rudimental, may find the sweet sound of her voice familiar. That's because Anne-Marie has previously been an essential member of Rudimental's live band, which means she's no stranger to performing in front of huge audiences and live on the radio.

"Karate" is the talented young artist's first step away from being a collaborator and towards finding her own audience and the progressive-pop tune showcases Anne-Marie's unique blend of electro, pop, hip-hop and R&B. Her strength lies in her undeniable vocal talent and, although the martial arts simile is somewhat confusing, the track is expertly produced and enjoyable to listen to.

Her forthcoming Karate EP, expected to drop on July 10, will feature the production of Josh Record, Two Inch Punch, and Brad Ellis and we expect that it will be full of similarly catchy pop tunes.
