With October comes autumn, Halloween, and the Treasure Island Music Festival, occurring this year October 18th and 19th.
Considered one of the West Coast’s most loved festivals since its establishment in 2007, The Treasure Island Music Festival - dubbed “The Festival In The Bay” - caps the festival season with no overlapping sets, Bay Area cuisine, a 60-ft Ferris Wheel, and a backdrop of the San Francisco Bay Area. All the while fans enjoy a range of music from rock and indie to pop and EDM. This year, Janelle Monae, Alt-J, Outkast, Massive Attack, and The New Pornographers, along with many others, will be performing at the festival.
General Admission and VIP Tickets are now on sale, as well as limited on-island parking passes for cars and motorcycles. Parking on Treasure Island is not permitted without the purchase of a parking pass ahead of time. All GA and VIP tickets include complimentary shuttle transportation from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco to and from the festival. The shuttle runs on a continuous loop throughout the day beginning at 11AM. For drivers, parking is available in lots within a three-block radius of the auditorium. For bikers, a Valet Bike Parking will be available at the auditorium itself. Other options include boating to the island and renting a party boat. For more information, check out the festival’s transportation information page.
As one of the premiere events of the autumn music season, the festival has been known to sell-out year after year, so get your tickets before it is too late!
