Arcade Fire is expanding into the cinematic realm with The Reflektor Tapes, their first full-length feature film. To be directed by Kahlil Joseph, collaborator with rap phenom Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus, the project will be "a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history."

Kahlil Johnson is no newbie to projects uniting videography and music, proven in his work on FKA twigs "Video Girl," Kendrick Lamar's short album-inspired film "m.A.A.d," and a Flying Lotus short titled "Until The Quiet Comes."

The movie will surround the touring and recording of Arcade Fire's 2013 album Reflektor, and will even include an unreleased Arcade Fire track.

The band has given us a taste of what's to come with a short section of the film titled "Porno," as well as a "first look" trailer of the movie. Watch both below, and keep a look out for more on the feature film, out September 24.
