Go ahead and add Sydney, Australia's Flume to the list of deadly things from down under. The chart topping Aussie, who IYS has inexplicably covered just once is moving out from the bottom of the world and has started making huge strides in Europe and, most recently, North America.

The 21 year old Harley Streten fell in love with synthetic music at age thirteen when he found a music production program in his cereal box, because (as we all know) Australians eat culture for breakfast. His love for all things synth expressed through remixes and all-including inspiration, Flume proved just how far his passions had taken him with his widely acclaimed Flume album, which topped the charts in Australia after its November 2012 release.

Australia dominated, Flume has set his eyes on the rest of the world for 2013. Bringing him to the North American masses is NYC-based music label Mom + Pop, who will re-release Flume in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Flume's release date is February 19.
