After years of silence since their hit remix of Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop," Nasty Ways returned on August 6th with their first official release in the form of a two song EP titled Cyber Snake / Skrakken.

Nasty Ways consists of EPROM, a solo San Francisco DJ, and Boreta, who you might know as a member of the genre-bending, EDM trio The Glitch Mob.

Since they were school boys, EPROM and Boreta were making music together until their own professional careers got in the way and the two ceased further collaboration. EPROM went solo where he delved into experimental electronic stylings mixing psychedelic synths with hip hop heavy beats backing it up. Boreta became a bit more successful from his work with The Glitch Mob, known far and wide by the underground EDM scene for their unique glitchy and bass-heavy sound.

Like a break up with a significant other that only proves how much you needed each other, the two reunited with a vengeance. Their experiences apart from each other is evident in Cyber Snake / Strakken which is as heavy and metallic as the name implies, with a sound far more refined than anything they have previously released. Further, this isn't merely a one time hook-up. The EP comes as a teaser for an upcoming debut album. For updates, check in with their label Glass Air.
