After more than three years, Ladyhawke returns with the first single off of her sophomore album Anxiety.

New Zealand born Pip Brown is the pop/rock/electro musician Ladyhawke. Before becoming the solo artist that she is today, Brown played in the rock/grunge inspired Two Lane Blacktop and Teenager, before making the shift to Ladyhawke. "Black, White and Blue" is the first single off of Anxiety which is set for release March 27, 2012. The single has a great pop-anthem quality to it. Brown's vocal is crystal clear and breathy at the same time - add that with awesome beats and upbeat melodies and you can't help but want to sing along. The Big Pink has taken the original single and offered a really unique remix. Ladyhawke's voice comes through in more of a foggy and distorted haze, paying tribute to her rock-inspired background. The Big Pink manages to rough up the original version without losing the anthem vibe that makes the song so great. The remix requires that you not only sing along, but you throw your hands into the air as well.
