Firefly will boast a large, impressive lineup this year, as announced earlier today.
The festival is expanding this year to hold 80,000 attendees, over 100 acts, and two new stages. Even the festival length is being expanded from three days to four. The festival will also be donating once again to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
“The addition of a fourth day, along with the expansion of our festival acreage and lineup, makes this the most exciting Firefly yet," festival director Greg Bostrom said in a press release. "These changes reflect our commitment to providing our fans the premier experience they expect from us not only this year, but in the years to come."
Headliners include Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, and Outkast in one of their many reunion appearances. Other notable acts include Imagine Dragons, Pretty Lights, The Lumineers, Arctic Monkeys, Weezer, Band of Horses, Young the Giant, Childish Gambino, Tegan and Sara, Cage the Elephant, Portugal. The Man, Grouplove, Local Natives, Ziggy Marley, Iron & Wine, Sleigh Bells, Twenty One Pilots, Third Eye Blind, Kaiser Chiefs, The Airborne Toxic Event, Phantogram, Sky Ferreira, X Ambassadors, and Christian Porter. The full lineup can be found at Firefly's website.
