Yesterday, in a forum post on their website, My Morning Jacket canceled the European leg of the Evil Urges tour due to an injury sustained by lead man Jim James in Iowa on October 7th. Although the band had previously decided to postpone the European leg of the tour to allow for Jim's recovery, scheduling conflicts effectively erased the band's ability to do so. As unfortunate as these events have turned out to be, the Louisville-based group plans to schedule a new European tour in the no-so-distant future.
