One tweet at a time, Twitter is taking over the world. Many artists (from Tom Waits to The Eagles of Death Metal) have signed up for the social networking platform, and more and more are choosing to relay their news via Twitter and other similar services like Facebook. One of the latest to follow this growing trend is Muse, who have released the name of their newest album via their Twitter feed on the morning of Friday, May 22. The post was short and simple, saying “Drum roll please... The new Muse album title is... The Resistance.” This new album, expected for release in September of this year, was worked on mainly in Italy, more specifically Milan and Lake Como. This Mercury Prize-winning band has been hard at work on this album for close to three years now, and after the last few, is being released to pretty high expectations.
