When Japandroids released Post-Nothing in August ’09, the Canadian duo supplied the perfect soundtrack for saying goodbye to another carefree summer filled with nothing to do. An excellent debut album and a constant tour schedule won the band a lot of fans and at the same time gave still gave them room to grow. This year it seems the noise-rockers are really poised to do just that. The band just announced a massive tour to start the new decade off right, beginning with their gig on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. Japandroids will make stops across the US and Europe (here’s their chance to finally French kiss some French girls) starting on January 23 in Hanover, Delaware. The continuing Post-Nothing Tour, ongoing since the middle of summer last year, will last at least until late April and include five shows at SXSW. The Big Pink, A Sunny Day in Glasglow, Love is All and Bear in Heaven will all accompany the duo at some point during these shows. Tour dates after the break.
