Most of the time in the world of music news, life can be exciting. New releases, record label clashes, hearsay of reunions, etc. Unfortunately this is one of those news articles which has to crop up now and again, and may make you sad. But don't worry, we are here for you.

The Canadian pop rockers, Islands, are "incredibly gutted to announce that the European tour, set to begin March 2nd has had to be canceled and postponed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances," a blog on their Myspace read.

Islands insist they are trying to "resolve the problem" and rather oddly are not needing to postpone or cancel any of the UK dates which were included in the trip East. These dates, in the meantime, are going ahead as planned.

So, all of you reading in Europe, who are now in total dismay at the fact that their plans have been shattered, we are sorry. We will be reporting any information on the resurrection of these scrapped dates as soon as any becomes available. So try not to get to upset, and keep your fingers and toes well and truly crossed.
