Well, it looks like the identity of the very mysterious and metallic-looking Iamamiwhoami is finally known. Maybe. Sort of. Check out all the mind-boggling details after the jump.

When the first viral video clips of the mysterious female singer (if you want to call her that) hit the YouTube waves in December, the world basically went ballistic trying to figure out who the strange woman is. One of MTV's reporters even wrote an open letter to the person clad in black, tarry nothing, and with bleach blonde hair.

Assumptions flew over who was behind the viral campaign. Trent Reznor, who, in 2007, created a mind-blowing ARG to accompany the release of Year Zero, was a hot target of speculation. (Last week, he vehemently denied the rumors via Twitter.) The Knife, Aphex Twin, MGMT, and the infamous Christina Aguilera were among a long list of possible contributors, but the cat's out of the bag.

Thanks to the brilliant forces behind the LiveJournal Oh No They Didn't did some serious photo comparisons. They are pretty sure that Jonna Lee, a Swedish singer/songwriter, is the doe-eyed tree licker. Lee's rep, Jamie Jaffe for Philadelphonic, claimed to MTV that "If Jonna is involved in this, we have no knowledge of such."

Yeah, right.

She's slated to perform at SXSW, and after all this hubbub, you can be sure that everyone will be hounding her until the world gets a response. When that happens, Inyourspeakers will have the full story for you.
