Beginning on April 16 of next year, Hot Chip are playing the first of a five-date tour with The xx in Oakland, California. These shows happen to be two months after the band will be finishing a much larger tour of Europe. As we previously reported, the band just made a "live return" to the music scene a few weeks ago. Put two and two together and you realize that Hot Chip really means business. They already have a handful of dates for you to attend, and a brand new album on the way. One Life Stand, Hot Chip's fourth album, will be released February 8 of the coming year. Kicking off just four days after the new album, winter tour dates will be in support of said album.
