Cartoon band Gorillaz have recently announced that they will be selling tickets to several rehearsal dates, to take place shortly before their big show at Coachella on April 18th. At this point, one can only wonder what the rehearsal shows will involve. When all of a band's members are two dimensional animations, it is hard to imagine there being much room for the off-the-cuff banter and equipment checks one would expect at a more conventional band practice. The tickets to these rare shows are a steal at £15 (about $22). There are, however, a few limiting factors. Dates and details after the jump.

One is that the shows' venues are relatively small, so tickets are liable to sellout within microseconds of going on sale. The other is that the tickets are only available to members of the G-Club, Gorillaz official fan club. A twelve month subscription to the G-Club costs a cool £30, bringing the total ticket price to almost $70 for current nonmembers. Also, all of the dates are in the UK. Hmm...maybe we will just put that money towards a campsite at Coachella instead.
